I try not to complain too much. I hope that I haven't here. I have had the worst day. I'm working as a sub now, my route was parceled off to other routes. The carrier on my prime route is on vacation and I've been working my hinney off all week. I mean I'm on the run from, literally from 6:45 am to 3:30-4:30 pm. Hardly time to eat and can go 4 hours out on the route without a potty break. I know, TMI, but I'm no spring chick..it's rough. I can deal with that, I know that I'm learning the route and the mail has been VERY heavy this week. Today my mother, who is 80, had back surgery. I HAD to work...couldn't get out of it. I don't have that option anymore. So I had that worry hanging over my head all day. I'm very happy to say that she came through her 3 1/2 hr surgery just fine. They had concerns about the anesthesia (sp) and her heart.
A year ago today Spud went to the Rainbow Bridge. That has been heavy on my heart also. I miss him so much, I think about him and miss him every day. He was my closest Spuddy Buddy for 17...almost 18 yrs. I had some tears...because I still wish I he was here. He was so much to me and I think the feeling was mutual. I hope I made his life comfortable and happy...that was my goal.
Anyway, it's just been a tough day. Sorry for the downer... kind of just needed to get it out of my system.
