Do any of you (or your kids) have 2 middle names?

I have two middle names. It's not a pain on forms because you just drop the second name. Mine is Alicia Susan Diane xxxxx, on forms I just put Alicia Susan (Diane if it will fit) and most forms now have a spot for two initials if it asks for them, if not, just put the one initial. It's really not a big deal.
The first middle name is the one that will end up on most legal documents, no matter how many middle names are given at birth. Congratulations btw!

My son has 2 middle names. We adopted him when he was almost 5. He wanted My husbands name as his middle name, and his birth father's name for a second middle name. William James Derrick

I don't have kids, but my good friend's children all have two middle names.  (She has three boys.)  I am sorry for your loss.  It's touching that you want to do something so special to honor your pastor.

I don't even have one middle name and always felt very "deprived".   My late older brother didn't have a middle name either.  Don't know why our parents never gave us middle names -- but I don't see anything wrong with 2 middle names --- I think it adds a touch of class and elegance.

I have 3 names and didn't know it until I got a copy of my birth certificate when I applied for my marriage license.  All 3 names are on my birth certificate and baptismal records, but no one ever called me by the first name---except for the nuns in grade school.  At the start of every school year, I would inevitably be called "Mary"----and I had no idea why.

Legally my name is Mary Elizabeth Anne; I have never signed anything using 'Mary', and rarely even use 'Elizabeth'.  I'm proud to have those 3 names, as each one represents someone in my family.  I think adding a 2nd middle name is a lovely tribute to someone you obviously cared about.

Pushylady- My family is from Costa Rica and you are right my mom yells our full names when she is mad!! LOL She also mixes up mine and my sister's name and calls us the wrong thing all the time. You'd think she'd remember our names since she named us and we are her only kids :lol3:

My names are Linda Louise Sophie.  My letterhead has "Linda L." I don't bother with the "Sophie". It's on my birth certificate and that's about the extent that I use it.
Linda, I've always wondered if your middle name was Natalie!  Guess I was wrong! LOL!  (I like your names, BTW. Sophie is so unusual as a middle name.)

I used to post in a different community genre, and found myself the target of internet bullies who were literally stalking me around the internet, and even took it offline into my real life.

When I left that community, I wanted to get lost on the internet. I took down my website, changed my email address, my home phone number, closed my gaming accounts and when I decided to join this site, I chose a completely random user name in the event that anyone tried to search my old user names from other sites.

Louise was my Dad's Mom's name.  Sophie was my Mom's Mom's name.  Linda was a name that was popular around the time I was born and my Mom liked it.

We've had two recent Presidents with two middle names.  Does anyone know both of them?  One of them is really easy...

George Herbert Walker Bush, of course. And, hmm, I have to go look up who else!

ETA: Can't find another! Or at least it's not on their Wikipedia page. :lol3:

So I Googled it and the answer said Bill (William Jefferson) Clinton. Which doesn't make sense because Bill is a nickname for William. :dk:.

Bill Clinton's official name was William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, but I've never seen it on anything.  Blythe was his actual father's last name, who died before Bill was born, if I remember correctly.  Clinton was his step-father's name.

I suppose it's possible he had it changed before he ran for office, but I suspect he just ignored it.

I attended a university graduation today, and I see that four names is becoming much more common.
