Who else is expecting kittens???

Just thought I'd look for other people expecting kit kits soon... Thought maybe we could talk! if you're expecting, please write


For those that will ask, yes, my cat will be spayed after the babes are weaned.

hey sasha was expecting up untill a fe hours ago she has now just gave birth to her 5th kitten hoping for her sake thats her done lol

I'm expecting kits soon, but for now it is all in the air. Rescued her and was told she was pregnant by past owners. Definitely seems big enough to be pregnant and feels like she is pregnant. She has the appetite of one. I plan on taking her to the veterinarian soon for an exam to get a definite answer.

My one concern is that her nipples aren't enlarged or pink. However, it feels like her belly is starting to get ready to produce milk, like I feel a lot of mushy room between muscle and the skin. She doesn't seem fat at all though.

Congrats to Sasha!! that is so exciting! I've seen a kitten being born too, and it's gross but soo cool at the same time! Have you got pictures?? Congrats to mama and "grandma" hehe

@FurryPaws- please keep me updated I wasn't sure if mine was pregnant at first, but she kept getting chubbier and chubbier and eventually looked like a football! But she had began to "drop" her belly a little about 5 days ago...

Shes been licking her nipples like CRAZY tonight! That mean anything good??lol

that could mean her milk is maybe in? have you tried squeezing the nipples a little and seeing if any comes out.

Maybe... I will try that today to see if that's it. By the way, her kittens are sooo cute!!!! Sasha is a beautiful cat too!!! She kind of looks like my friends cat... Just too cute!

i know im so happy for her and she is very good with me handling kittens but always keeps a  close eye on them all. she is such a good mummy. 

Awww I bet! I'm glad she's being super mama keep updated with pics of them... Can't wait to see how they'll look when their eyes open!

i know i think im going to be snap happy over the next 12 weeks lol

Lol I would be too!!! I plan on taking lots of pictures once she delivers! Nope, no new signs... I just came in to see her, and she's sleeping on the couch. Question, maybe you could answer for me since your cat just had babes... When they start to drop their belly, does that mean entirely drop it so it hangs? Cause her belly has gotten dropped some, but it still sticks out on her lower sides when she walks... Does that mean she's not as far as I thought?

thats exactly whats sashas tummy did, it did still stick out at the sides tho as she had 5 kittens in there and she is a small cat. she will let you know when she is going into labour, if she anything like sasha. but i didnt see any discharge or anything like that until she was trying to push a kitten out.i also squeezed her nipples the same day she went into labour and no milk came out. also she was eating just before labour and after 3rd one i offered her a treat because i thought she had finished and she wolfed it down then proceeded to have more kittens.

Okay, thank you... It's nice to know somewhere theres someone who can answer my questions if I have one! Hehe. Bella, I just call her Belle also, she is normally a petite thing, so she is quite a bit bigger than she usually is too... This isn't bellas first baby either, last summer she gave birth on 4th of July, but only one kitten, never lost any. After this litter, she is getting spayed cause it seems to fail to keep her inside, obviously, lol. And this time, she seems bigger, and her belly is harder than last time... With her summer baby, I didn't see her much til the day of, and she laid around and meowed and finally, after my parents left my house, she decided to jump in the kitchen CUPBOARD and have her! Lol she cried til I came and opened the door, and started to push, standing/sitting like she was pooping so I closed the door again to get my boyfriend, when I came back I had seen she stopped pushing but as soon as she seen me again, she started up again and was clawing the crap outta my hand her paw was on! Lol

I will post a picture of the fourth of July baby when I get on a computer, named her Miracle, she is mostly white, medium length hair, has black and white in her face, but not the whole head, has a black ear, and a white ear, a black circle on her side back and an orange and black tail. I can't wait to see if she has more than one kitten this time, it seems like it since she's got a harder belly this time around... I will most definitely post pictures when the time is here! I'll be like you, snap happy!!!! Lol

We are! The only thing is- momma kitty is about 6 months old, just a baby herself. Normally we would abort, but she is just a week or two away, according to the vet. We decided it would be harder on her to abort than to give birth. But does anyone have any experience with this?

(Yes, momma and kittens will be fixed as soon as it is safe to do so! We spay/neuter all our babies.)

So far there seem to be no issues with the pregnancy. She's eating well, taking care of herself, active and very sweet.

I'm glad to hear she's doing well, I hope when the time comes, mama and kit-kits will be healthy! I have no experience in that area... My cat is 5-6 years old, hard to tell exact, I adopted her, and they roughly estimated cause they had found her, and when I got her, they guessed she was about 1 year old. Please keep me updated on the pregnancy and progress, always nice to hear Do you have any pictures of the mama? 

This is Bella, the soon-to-be mama, the two previous pictures, of the mostly white cat, is Miracle - Bella's 4th of July baby last summer. Bella will be fixed after this litter.
