George hasn't been eating very much for the past few days (very abnormal for him, usually he gobbles up all the car food in sight!!!). He was barely touching his dry food, so I tried giving him some wet food which has helped in previous occasions when he has acted like this. He nibbled a little bit on the wet food, and seemed like it might be helping. (All the while, he has been drinking water and peeing no problem, but only one poop to be found in the litter box over a period of 4 days.)

Yesterday and today he has not been eating anything, and is vomiting up these white foamy little piles. He's still somewhat social (not hiding under a bed or anything) but his activity level is quite decreased.

I'm quite worried and so Georgie-poo is going to go see the vet today at 12:15pm (9am now here).
Will update with what the vet says, and if anyone has some experience or thoughts I'd love to hear them. Please send good vibes for my Georgie, at 6.5 years old now this is the first time we've had to take him to the vet for a potential illness, and I'm just all worried about my fur baby!

Goerge should be at the Vet now, or even home.
for a good report.

I'm sad to say that our Georgie-poo didn't make it.
When we took him to the vet they x-rayed him and found kind of a dryed hairball/kibble ball that was stuck in his digestive tract, which is why he wasn't eating. This was a treatable issue, and we and the vet were optimistic. They kept him for the afternoon to treat him, and then take another x-ray.

When the blockage moved, it revealed a large mass/tumour of some kind, and George's condition rapidly decreased....he was in so much pain and discomfort, and the vet said that the damage from this mass/tumour thing had been done and there was nothing that could be done to help him. The last and most merciful thing we could do for him was to put him to sleep.

I miss my friend so much. :(

OH NO!!! Oh I'm so very, very sorry. This is so sad. I know you miss him, you gave him the most unselfish gift of freeing him from the body that was killing him. Please know we are all here for you.
