My queen gave birth on Sunday to 4 healthy kittens. But yesterday while being with them I noticed a discharge looking like blood. It was the size of half a thumb. She cleaned it immediately and didn't complain or anything. But her behavior yesterday night and today in the morning has been a little bit different. She looks quite anxious, and is running all around the house. It reminds of the same behaviour before giving birth when she was looking for a nest.

Is this normal?

Pictures of the babies. We all like pictures :)

She might be anxious because she doesn't like where the kittens are and is looking for somewhere she prefers, but I'd suggest you ring your vets and discuss her discharge with them.  Some spotting is normal, and it gradually decreases, but 'half the size of a thumb' doesn't sound like anything I've ever noticed.

It is absolutely normal. They can have discharge up to 10 days after giving birth, although I find it usually only last a few days. Unless she is in distress, not eating, drinking or acting normally I wouldn't worry too much.
