I had to laugh

I had to laugh today (although I feel kind of bad for doing so)....I realize she was only a teen and I do remember what it was like to be that age and it isn't very nice to laugh at other's misfortunes....but....

I stopped at the local Kum & Go after work....(very small convienence store) to get some milk.

In the parking lot there was an old Trans Am....parked side ways...with three teenage boys sitting on the curb beside it. It was obvious from the little bit of conversation I caught on my way in, that the car wouldn't start.

I went in and saw this young teenage girl standing there, looking quite irritated.

I got my milk and was paying for it when her cell phone rang...she answered it and said...very loudly...."It's about *#$@&%* time!!!! I have been waiting here for half an hour because the car is broke down!!! It is an absolute piece of sh*t Mom!!!!!!! I payed 231 dollars for nothing!!!!!!!"

Ummmm...$231...and it's a piece if sh*t???? YA THINK????
(sorry...shouldn't have laughed but that was too good!!!!)

Thanks for asking...I'm okay...for the most part....way too much stuff on my mind..way too much stuff going on in my life...and not nearly enough time to deal with it all.

And I agree.....what do you expect for that price???? I wanted to say to her that she shouldn't cuss at her mom, and that any moron would realize a $231 car would need some more money put into it....but...didn't have the guts and was in a hurry as usual.

heck you can't even get a good digtal camara for that price?

I know!! That's why I just couldn't help but laugh!!! And she was so angry when she said it!!!! "I paid $231 for NOTHING!!!!"

the way kids talk now would probably earn me a slap with my parents... but i guess with that kind of money, u can't expect much....

One of my friends once bought a car in that very same price range...
One morning her car wouldn't start and she had to get to work. So she decided to "punish" the car by turning the key to accessories, getting out of the car, and walking to work. She told us all about her car when she finally arrived at work!!!!

I don't swear much but, I always had a block, when around Mom or Granny - I might think the words but, they won't come out of my mouth.

that is such a strange price for a car(231) wonder where the 1 came from i dont even talk to my mom like that now, let alone when i was that young
