I did post a thread on Friday but i'm starting to get a little worried.

I first saw the kittens moving 16 days ago, however we didn't know she was pregnant until then so they may have been moving before that as she isn't really a lap cat and it may have gone un-noticed.

I keep searching online for a rough idea as to how long you should see kittens moving before birth and I saw someone on here say 18 days was the most they'd heard of.

I'm not sure whether it would be worth a trip to the vets tomorrow morning just to check everything out. Obviously with human pregnancy if you go too far over you get induced, does this apply with cat pregnancy? Could she possibly need a caesarean?

This isn't about me being impatient at all, it'll probably be a case of "they'll come when they're ready" I just don't want her health put at risk or anything like that. She doesn't seem bothered at all, her behaviour is no different to normal. She's sleeping a lot, quite vocal and affectionate, but not showing any signs of being distressed/uncomfertable or anything.

Thanks in advance

I've been able to feel the kittens moving inside my female for about 4 weeks now. It started out feeling like little bubbles popping in her belly, then gradually grew to where I can feel the entire kittens. And for about 3 weeks i've been able to SEE them moving around in her belly. I'm expecting them any day now!!! My vet said not to worry about it, my female is normally a tiny little thing which is why I could feel the movement a lot sooner than what is considered 'normal'. Lol. Good luck!

See I don't know what point you could feel them moving in her because we weren't looking for it and she isn't really a lap cat. The movement when I first saw it 16 days ago was VERY obvious, so i'm assuming had we been looking for it we would have been able to see sooner. Our female cat is also very small, as you can probably see from my pic! So maybe that's why we've been able to see for so long too.

Hopefully they'll make their appearances soon!
