Good morning! Today's question is actually something we were discussing at work on Friday.

Do you write in cursive, do you print, or both?

I use a combination, basically printed letters linked together here and there, although in grade school and high school I wrote in cursive. I just got lazy over the years. One of my co-workers argued that cursive shouldn't even be taught anymore because other than signing your name and the occasional grocery list nobody writes anymore. He may have a point. So, how about you?

I print because it's faster for me. but I do have a nice cursive if I say so myself and I haven't really written anything in cursive in a long, long time.

That's a good point, no one writes with a pen anymore. i find if I am in a meeting at work and I have to write a lot on a pad, my fingers start to hurt!

All print.  I like the look of it better and hate getting notes or anything with cursive.  Tends to be the creatives choice and they flare it all out:p

I print. My cursive writing still looks like it did in third grade when I learned how to do it. I envy people who can write cursive nicely.

:lol3: I guess I haven't really thought about it until your question  I guess I write in cursive, mostly. Depends on what I am writing or filling out. :D

Pretty much the same thing here. My writing is horrible though whether it is printing or cursive. I still write things all the time, but I am in school and like to have a notebook with handwritten notes.

I print, all caps. I learned cursive and used it for awhile, but I just never liked it. I don't like the untidy-ness of cursive.

I print everything, mainly because I live in a country where the cursive is different and people have trouble with my handwriting. Cursive is being done away with in the elementary schools here now.

I do a combo.  My handwriting has always been a mess unless I'm concentrating and taking my time.  One doctor I worked for used to tell me he thought I was wasting time by jotting notes of all the calls that came in.  I pretty much had a whole call log I could look back at later.  Which I often needed to!  And it helped me paraphrase his messages to the relevant stuff.  Maybe with him being a stereotypical doctor with that kind of stuff he could have made sense of it....

I prefer hand written notes as well.  I can type faster than I can write for sure; but for some reason it's just easier to study from written notes.  And  you can make little side notes and things like that easier.

I use both at the same time. LOL But my writing is horrible, unless I am concentrating. I use abbreviations when I am monitoring a call and taking notes. Then I forget what the abbreviation was for!

Mostly print, but sometimes string the letters together in a print/cursive mix. I haven't written in full cursive in quite some time.

When writing I use cursive unless I am asked to print or use all caps

I still write quite a lot especially if I am planning something I write it all down so im not swapping between a dozen windows on the computer, and I find not taking the pen off the paper is much quicker to write LOL

I do a little of both, but I mostly write in cursive. I think it's prettier & faster, because your not lifting your pen as much.  As long as it's legible, I like cursive better.

I like the way it "flows."

I typically prefer to write in cursive; my cursive is nicer than my print! (I just happened to be writing my grocery list when I saw this post; the entire thing is in cursive!:lol3:)
