I would like to introduce you to my foster family!

This is the second litter I've fostered through my local humane society.

We've had a very hard week. We lost two of the kittens to coccidia. I was tube feeding, administering sub-Q fluids, giving meds 24-7 but nothing worked. Hard part about being a foster mom. Anyways, we still have three adorable kitties and their momma Muriel. She is such a good mom!

My little sweeties are 4 weeks old. So we still have another month together before the go back to the humane society to be spayed/neutered and be adopted!!

Oh sweetie, I COMPLETELY understand! I've been a foster mom for years now and have had countless litters (right now we have one 7 weeks litter all who are going home next weekend and a litter that is 2 weeks old, along with numerous adult fosters.) I have had many die in my arms, and some just fail to thrive, but we HAVE to focus on all of the ones we can SAVE right?

YES, we DO have to focus on the ones we save, and that's what I'm trying to do with the other three that are so healthy. They are at such a fun age right now! I just love them

Isn't he a doll?? He was actually the runt and was half the size of Artie when I got them at just a few days old. I bottle fed him a few times a day, and now at 4 weeks old he's finally caught up with the others! I have a soft spot for him too

May you be blessed for the work of love that you do!  and my condolences for the loss of those precious babies, who are now safe and watching over their mom, siblings, and you.  What sweet little faces those babies have, and their mom is such an elegant beauty -- praying they find the loving, forever home(s) they -- and all cats -- deserve!
