Any day now! my queen pics

 

Hello everyone! my queen Ginger is about to have a litter any day now! 

I found out she was pregnant when i took her to the vet to get her spayed, so I was a bit nervous back then since this wasn't the plan! But now I am soooo excited!!

Anyone wants to guess how many kittens she ll have??? I will say..... 3? (I know there s no way to tell.. im just guessing )

She is beautiful!  I'm going to guess three...she doesn't look very big, if that is any indication.   Vibes for mom and kittens coming your way.

Update: today ginger got restless and had a decrease in appetite. yesterday she slept all day and ate quite a bit, today though she is not in a petting mood at all (she loooooved to be pet throughout all her pregnancy) but today she runs from a corner to another, from a box to another and when she stops and I walk towards her she walks away! 

How exciting!! Can't wait to see how many she has. My previous foster mom was a tortie like Ginger and she had three kittens, one orange, one cream, and one dilute tortie! It's so fun to see the colors of the litters from torties. Keep us updated!!

Lindz2785, they are so adorable!! I really can't wait ! I hope it will happen when I am home from University! 

Now she calmed down a little, eats and drinks a lot less then usual. Her belly feels a lot harder than before but the bigggest difference is that now I can feel the little ''sausages'' way more distinctly and kitties still moving. 

Sometimes I think ''oh my she ll give birth by tomorrow'' sometimes it feels like she ll wait another week! Ugh gotta love this waiting game!!

Soooooo still nothing!! It has been so nerve wrecking

This is what happened:

On March 16 I took Ginger to the vet because she had what it seemed to be a swollen vein on her belly. Well turns out it was the reaction of the mammary glands andddd that she was pregnant. The vet could feel a couple of babies and she said that considering their size, Ginger had been at least a month pregnant and to expect a litter around Easter.

The week of Easter I took her again to the vet who said everything was fine ( we also noticed she had granuloma which is disappearing now fortunately).

No litter around Easter (8 of May)  and after 2 weeks still no signs.... The kittens are still moving and everything so they are healthy I think and Ginger is content... But seems to have no intention of popping... 

What do you guys think? could the vet have been wrong?

She was in labour last night!! She waited for me to get home from work <3 I stayed up until 4 with her and she had 3 cuties and this morning there was another one!! so total of 4! first one is entirely black, second one is black w/white paws face and belly, third one is red with white legs face and belly fourth one is entirely red!! they are so cute! I ll post pics soon!

Question: They look nice and warm with mama, I saw them attached to nipples until Ginger got up to eat something then they slept cuddled with her. In my opinion though Ginger's breast is not big (is it supposed to be big if it  has milk inside? or can she produce the same amount of milk anyways?) 

Kittens are quiet tho they don't cry, sometimes they make a little squeek and seem comfortable.
