Okay so this is just a so cute on kittens. My husband has pretty much decided we are keeping the orange one named OJ. I have pretty much decided we are keeping R2 so we are going to have 3 cats it seems. lol. But R2 refuses to use a lower nipple on his mama and was swatting at his siblings to get a top nipple they would not budge but it was so cute to see them fighting. R2 is my favorite already and only a little over 72 hours old.Today was the first day I had to leave them alone. I had to work and so did my husband. Yesterday husband took off while I was at school. So I was nervous but it they were just fine as my husband said they would be. When I came home I let the dogs outside and then went to check on them and Sallie Mae looked up at me and jumped to get attention from me. I gave her attention and then she left the room. She had not left them so far since they were born. She just went around and got her favorite bird toy and came back to the room guess she was missing it. I had cleaned out the spare bedroom of all furniture and put all the cat stuff in there for her to have the whole room and the Kittens so when they are ready can move without fear of getting hurt and all. Plus great excuse to rearrange the bedroom as I have been waiting to do. LOL! Is it okay to keep some of her kittens? It won't cause problems would it?

It won't cause any problems to keep her offspring. I had a residential feral momma who I could not catch who ended up having 2 litters in the 2 years before I finally trapped her and got her spayed. I found some of the kittens good homes, but the others- no one showed interest in. I have 4 of her babies now, 2 from one litter and 2 from another. Just make sure to get them fixed when the time comes!
you're gonna have an amazing bond with your two new babies, having them from birth!

Awww, it won't cause a problem at all hun!
8 and a half years ago I had a pregnant stray show up on my back doorstep, my beautiful Nefertiti. Weeks later she gave birth to 3 beautiful babies on my bed, while I was petting her the whole time. Even though I had a birthing box all ready for her, she wanted to be on the bed with me. LOL Anyway, we kept her AND all 3 of her babies. Nefertiti passed away a few years back due to a sudden illness, and when my ex and I split, he took her son Horus, because Horus didn't like me and was very much my ex's cat. I found out 2 years ago that he had Horus put to sleep because of bladder crystals.
The other 2 "kittens" are my Osiris & Cleopatra II, both beautiful, loving kitties who I just adore. The whole family got along great though, and Nefertiti always loved her babies.

So these are our 5 newest members. OJ being orange. I want to name him Crook-shanks, but I have been out voted every time, but I have one name Lighting McQueen and Samurai. Those are the two solid blacks with spots of orange and white. Then the darker gray is Easter and the lighter gray is R2

Aww you have two cute tortoiseshell girls. They are a like calicos and are only female, a male tortoiseshell is very rare but not unheard of. Whenever I have had torti kittens they have gotten more orange as they aged, my zoe only had a few spots of orange on her when she came to me at 2 weeks old, now she has lots of orange.

There is nothing wrong that, growing up I had a female cat named Charley, we didn't realize he was really a she till much latter after we named her lol. I just love torties and not everyone knows that is a female coloring, I didn't until I got into rescuing and started getting all sorts of cats.
