I forgot to ask the vet. Can I use her flea stuff? It is peak flea season and I live on the beach. She gets her flea stuff the 17th of each month can she still use it being she is lactating? My second question is I noticed drips of blood on her towels as I checked and changed out her bedding. Is this normal? Also in her poop. I know when I had my children I bleed but I am a human not a feline so I was wondering if I need to call the vet or wait. Sorry she is my first, last, and only queen so I may be over protective.:) Thanks. Shouldn't say last because if another pregnant cat walks into the house I would take them in too.

Yeah, best if you phone back the vet and ask.  Being a paying patient you can do this, even to a vet who normally doesnt answer telephone questions.

Otherwise, google on this flea preparate.   (WE cant know what your anonymous preparate does. Many are not so healthy).

She had delivery recently, right?  Some red coloured discharges are quite common afterwards, precisely as with humans.  But fresh blood, not as good. esp if more than a few drops now and then.

As said, best to ask the vet.

Good luck!
