Hi everyone! I have been on and off on this site for almost a year soaking up information but since I wasn't yet owned by a kitty I decided to wait to join.

I am now mom to Kali, an F4C Savannah kitten. She was born on November 6th, 2011. She is a nonstandard brown marble, which is why I was able to get her for so cheap ($1,000). Although, sometimes I swear she is either a Sokoke or a Bengal, it wasn't until the breeder mailed me the blue slip that I finally accepted she was a Savannah, it's her coloring that throws me off. Looking for your opinions :) She is on Wellness CORE canned (Chicken, turkey, turkey liver formula), Nature's Variety Instinct Duck formula canned, and I am hoping to start raw feeding soon. She's a little piggy, weighs 6lbs already!

Here are a couple (ok maybe A LOT) of my girl :)

This was the same day she came home 2/21/12

Hi and welcome to TCS! :wavey: Glad you finally joined!
Kali is absolutely stunning, what lovely markings and a regal expression she has.

Welcome from a fellow newbie to TCS.  Kali is beautiful with her unusual markings for a Savannah. Good for you for deciding to transition to raw--you will be so glad you did, as will Kali.

I bet as she grows you're going to have much fun with her and all that Savannah energy bursting out all over the place.

Thanks for sharing her photos--amazing!

Thanks WhollyCat! I am very excited for the raw transition, I have exhausted myself with all the research I have done. Are your fur babies on raw? I am going to follow the recipe on catnutrition.org but I am open to suggestions.

reyesofsun:  welcome aboard.  Check out the Raw feeding subforum, it's under Cat Nutrition.  Lots of good info; I think one of the regular posters/readers has a Savannah.

PS:  I feed Ritz raw, best decision ever; she's a wonderful domestic shorthair, rescued from the streets.
