Happy Easter to everyone, what is everyone doing today? We are just having a quiet day in today and I am cooking a whole leg of lamb, having a roast with roast potatoes, mashed potato, carrots, leeks, brocolli, sage and onion stuffing, home made gravy and yorkshire puddings.Going to put the lamb in on low in a minute.

Hope everyone has a great day.xx

Happy Easter! It's a lazy day around here right now. DH and I are going to start building our raised planters this afternoon (which means, DH does the work and I supervise
) then I have to finish my spinach salad to take to my Aunt-in-law's (?) for dinner tonight. Hope everyone has a great Easter!

Happy Easter!  I am making homemade barbecue for sandwiches, potatoes and baked beans.  DH is going to make slaw.  The roasts and the potatoes are cooking right now, and it smells so good in here.

Well, had a lovely meal and the kids ended up with 15 easter eggs between them and a huge chocolate bunny each, my mum suprised them, she works at a toy wholesalers and bought them lots of toys each, all the things that they have been wanting for a while, they were so pleased. The eggs have been hidden and will be rationed out, if i don't eat some of them myself first

Happy Easter! Today is also my mother's birthday.

Your meals all sound delicious! We had a non-traditional cookout. :lol3:

Happy birthday to your mom, Karen! And Happy Easter everybody....even though it's belated.

We just had our stuffed ham with cranberry glaze (it was stuffed with cornbread), sweet potato casserole with toasted pecans, chopped dried apricots, dried cherries and maple syrup, dried corn (Rick prefers dried corn over corn pudding and such), some yeast rolls that I had made and tucked into the freezer), mandarin orange and pecan salad, mint tea, and dessert was strawberry pies.

My sister had been into our local candy store and she bought little Easter baskets of white chocolate filled with white chocolate Easter eggs as placesettings for our table. I ate some of the eggs, but haven't eaten my basket....yet.
