Hi, everyone--I'm not new to the forum, but I haven't posted since 2007 and a lot of things have changed, so I figured I better do another introductory post.
My name is Stacy and I used to own a cat named Nyx and her three kittens--Butch, Eris, and Bigsby. Unfortunately, due to a bunch of different things, I had to give them up
Nyx went to my ex-boyfriend, Butch went to an old co-worker of mine (seems to be doing well; he's huge now!), and Eris and Bigsby were both adopted by other families.

Well, I did it and am currently stationed in Colorado. My husband and I both love cats and he wanted to get a couple.. so of course I agreed! We don't have the cats yet, but we have reserved them--a Birman and an Egyptian Mau. They should be ready mid-summer. We are both so excited! We already bought cat beds, brushes, litter box, some toys... Yeah I know, we are nuts.
Anyway, I wanted to come back to the forum because I remembered it having a great community. Also, I'm hoping to get some great advice from more experienced cat owners. I kind of stumbled my way through my first kitties (albeit with lots of help from you guys)
