Hi all! I'm new here, so it's nice to meet all of you!

Ok, for my question. My cat is a huge klutz and fell off of the window ledge today. He fell on his side, and I thought he was ok, but since then, he won't walk on his right front leg. He will walk on the other three, but he holds that one up and limps around. He hasn't cried out in pain or anything, just won't walk or put pressure on it. He's eating and using his litter box, and other than the limping, he seems to be fine. Not as playful as usual, but he's not trembling, or panting, or showing any other symptoms of pain. The leg feels fine and he's not bleeding. I cut up an ACE bandage and wrapped it around the leg and paw, but he promptly chewed it off. I love my big guy, but I'm unemployed right now and cash is pretty tight, so I don't want to take him to the vet if this is something I should wait out and see if it gets any better. Should I keep him shut up in the bathroom for a day or so? Any help would be appreciated! I feel bad for him.

Additional info...his name is Buddha and he's about a year old. Thank you!!!

For non-emergencies like that, I usually give them a day or so to get better. No reason to rush off to the e-vet for this. But if he's not showing at least a little improvement by Monday, I do think he'll need to see the vet.

Thank you for your help! He seems better today. He's still limping a little, but he is walking on it today :)
