Question

Hello -

My cat is around the time where she can be in labor. I'm not sure on the amount of days but I'm sure it is around 62. She has been sitting in her nesting box all day and just laying there not doing much and she has started breathing fast but it only lasts for a few minutes and she goes back to normal. Normally she is all over the place. I read that they normally get restless and move around a lot when they are in labor or about to start labor. Is this normal?

Difficult to say if it is beginning of the real labor, or if it is "just" some premature contractions. (which is common).

Im sure it IS some sort of contractions, yes.

But so far it sounds normal.
