How Do You Read Forum Threads????

Do you scan down the thread list and pick and choose? Do you read threads started by certain users first? Do you go in order?

I usually scan the thread titles fast, then pick the one's I'm most curious about.

How do you read the forums??

Mostly (providing I have all the time I want to browse), I pick the oldest thread I haven't read and work my way upwards from oldest to newest to read. And usually I read all the threads, unless they're just spam.

And I used to go to the health stuff first, but lately, I find myself going from the Lounge / Fur Pictures, to IMO, to Feedback, then to the 3 health forums. I read through them the same way in each one though.

I read the new posts first and then I will go to the Lounge and work my way down.

I check the forums I co-moderate first then hit View New Posts and look at those.

It depends on how much time I have. I do have a certain order, though. First I check for official Mod business.

Then I check New Cats and answer all the new intros, then I go to SOS and Ferals, then IMO, then the Lounge. The Lounge always takes the longest.

If I have lots of time, I start at the bottom of the new posts and work my way up to the top. If I don't have lots of time, I skim through the titles and see what looks interesting or pressing.

Ditto...then if there's time I'll look through them all starting with the newest & working back, or do the "view new posts". My computer's been crashing so much lately and the dial-up is so slow I haven't been able to look at the pictures threads much, and those are my favorite.

I hit view new posts and then read the titles and read the ones I'm most interested in/

Most of my time is spent in the Lounge. And because I check it sevearl times daily I work my way down the list. Then once a week (or so) I check the "New Cats" and work my way up the list to welcome all the newbie's. The other forums I just check once a week or two weeks and pick and choose by interesting titles.

That's what I do too usually. Unless I see a new thread that really catches my eye.

I pop in and out, pick and choose, mostly cause I am at work. Lately I haven't had a lot of time to hang around at all. It is very depressing.

read the ones where I've posted and then see the new ones or whatever seems interesting....don't have much time to view all of them
