He will not eat any of it! I still had two cans left from the time that I had bought a bunch of differing brands and flavors. He is just so irritating! He is loving his TOTW, but I realized that it is a fish based food! How could I have missed that? I think because he liked it so much that I didn't even look at the ingredients.

I either really need to get to a pet store or order another case of food online. My next food I am ordering will be Earthborn Holistic Chicken, I know he loves that stuff. My friend was going to come vsit me last week and bring me a case because she works in a farm store that carries it but she ended up having to work and couldn't come.

Sorry for the rant.

Mine hated BG at first. Then they loved it. I'm feeding them raw now, but Spooky is still transitioning. For some reason, she currently hates BG. :lol3: She's just as likely to love it next week! :flail:

Mine don't like BG.  I've tried several of the different "flavors", and none of my cats will even try any of them!  'course, I think the main problem is the texture.  Mine don't like pate.

As far as TOTW, I heard they recently changed their formula, and the old one was great, the new one terrible (from a cats point of view)

Mine like pate but don't like the one BG flavor we have tried (chicken and quail.)  They will eat it only grudgingly.

My cat liked BG, then didn't like it, and now he loves it! Cats are silly...

Mine only likes the Quail, but I mix my food all the time, so he never really knows what he's eating. He likes the firmer textures and chunks, so I mix most of the pate stuff with other chunkier meatier brands.

So he really liked Wellness which was pate style. Also the Evo Turkey and Chicken he wouldn't eat great before he has been mowing down every day for the last two weeks. Darn cat doesn't know what he likes.

Well, I had to pick this up the other day at Petco because their last bag of TOTW was recalled.  By the time I got to the store, all 3 of my back up choices were SOLD OUT!!

They seem to like it just fine.  Of course it is new and different and mine always love the new so it'll take a few mornings to find out if they truly like it or not.  But so far, so good.

We had one of our cats on BG and she loved it (except salmon, which was fine by me since I don't want her eating fish too often). About two weeks later, I decided to add some other wet brands into the mix such as Wellness Grain-Free minced, Blue Wilderness Wild Delights and Innova Adult Cat and BG became her last choice of food to eat. However if I waited a month before refeeding it she would gobble it up (and she found turkey to be the tastiest). So all in all, I think in comparison to other brands, BG just isn't as tasty, however its a great quality food IMO so if you can get your kitties to eat it I would!

I'm scraping Wellness out of my rotation because I have just heard too many bad things about its quality and after hearing that its made at Diamond.. that was enough for me. If your looking for a really tasty food, I found that my cats LOVE Blue Wilderness Wild Delights Turkey and Chicken. I am also going to add Nature Variety and Evo into her rotation to make up for it.

All the best food searching!
