I am going to be fostering a semi-feral mama and her newborn 4 tabby kittens tomorrow
So excited! But, the shelter has warned me that the mom comes with some issues. She will not use the litter box and frequently will poo in her bed and lie in it, making cleanup of the growling protective mom difficult. She apparently also turns over her veri-kennel contents daily.
I don't want to stress her and risk the health of the kittens.
I have feliway and classical harp music but that probably won't cut it. I will also try soil in the litter.
Um, any other suggestions?
