Hello! My name is Jenny and I live on Fort Knox, KY. Back at the beginning of February my husband and I saw a cat in our neighbor's backyard that was being bullied by two big cats. We scared the big cats away, and knew the names of them as they were pets that roam around, but the little cat ran away before we could catch her. Then the day after Valentine's Day I was standing outside of my townhouse talking to my friend while my front door was open. The little cat showed up out of nowhere and just strolled into my house. She decided we were going to be her new family and hasn't left our house since then. I am certain she was a family pet that was left behind as that is common on military posts (sadly).

Well at the beginning of March my best friend who lives a few doors down and I both found out we were pregnant! We are only 4 days apart from each other in due dates lol! I noticed our new cat, we named her Belle, getting fatter in the belly but I thought that was because she was getting regular meals now instead of scrounging for food.

I go to visit my mother a few states away and the day before I come back home my husband calls and surprises me with our cat is not only pregnant but probably close to having her babies! I got home 2 days ago and she is super pregnant. I think she got pregnant around the 6th of February! I am super nervous and excited. She is still young herself. She looks about a year and a half old and this is her first litter.

We cleared the office room out and turned it into a birthing room for her. It has a nesting box and then we also have a big comfy pet bed. We have her litter and food in there as well.

We also took her temperature last night and it was 99.6.

So here we are, me and my friend 9 weeks pregnant and my little cat also around that time lol. To top that off, our guinea pig who we got a few days before our cat showed up in our lives, apparently gave birth while I was gone! She was WAY too young to have a baby, though, and I couldn't believe she was actually pregnant. That pet store only sells female guinea pigs so no idea how that happened. Unfortunately that baby wasn't alive and she ended up eating some of it. I didn't know guinea pigs did that!

So yeah something is definitely in the water in KY

I isnt so bad as it sounds.  Guinea pigs ARE supposed to get preg first time when very young, before the skeleton  has growth and the fixtures getting unflexible.

Although HOW she did get pregnant I dont know.  Perhaps a little extra service from this pet shop??

Welcome to us,

Good luck!   *vibes*
