New "2 Day" Mommy Missy has bloody discharge

I was wondering if it is normal for a new mommy to have a bloody discharge.  It just started this morning and she had her babies on Sunday morning.  It wasn't much, but it was slimy and bloody.  There were two places about the size of a dime and a quarter on the mat where she eats.  Should I be concerned?  There is no foul smell, only a bloody smell.
