How Observant Are You?

There are 29 questions about things we see every day or have known about all
our lives. How many can you get right?
Put your thinking caps on. No cheating! No looking around!

No using anything on or in your desk or computer! And no looking at the
answers at the end, until you finish the questions!

Put the number of the ones you got correct in the subject box!

Can you beat 18?? The average is 7 (I found that hard to believe!).

Write down your answers and check answers (on the bottom)
AFTER completing all the questions.

1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom?

2. How many states are there? (Don't laugh, some people don't know)

3. In which hand is the Statue of Liberty's torch?

4. What six colors are on the classic Campbell's soup label?

5. What two letters don't appear on the telephone dial? (No cheating!)

9. On the United States flag, is the top stripe red or white?

10. What is the lowest number on the FM dial?

12. Which way does a "no smoking" sign's slash run?

13. How many channels on a VHF TV dial?

14. Which side of a women's blouse are the buttons on?

15. On a NY license plate, is New York on the top or bottom?

16. Which way do fans rotate?

17. Whose face is on a dime?

19. Do books have even-numbered pages on the right or left side?

20. How many lug nuts are on a standard car wheel?

as I am not from the US I was pretty proud...

Taking out the US specific questions means I got 13/25 rather than 13/29 - not too bad...

Another non American, and I got 18 right. I am pleased with that! And some of these are really tough, like the number of matches in a pack - I have never used paper matches, if that is what they are referring to, I use tiny boxes of wooden matches. So even really observant people have not come across all of these items.

Great quiz!

21 for me - missed most of the US specific ones (got the number of states). For a non-American, I guess that's not bad. And you say 7 is "average"?? In what crowd, pray tell?
