After months of waiting for an appointment to open up, I finally have a slot with my local TNR people!! Their website is here.
The appointments are free, thank goodness. Mine is on May 4th. I get a trap from one of their volunteers, trap the kitty, bring it in, they speuter, then I confine it for 24-72 hrs after the surgery, then send it back to its merry colony.
AND, I asked if they needed volunteers, and she said they were DESPERATE for callback/schedule workers that were computer literate. I fit the bill, so she'll be contacting me soon about getting trained to do their callbacks and appointment scheduling on the weekends. The best part of that is: I can schedule myself for appointments. Which is good since there are about 15 cats behind the dumpster out here that need fixing.
Oh boy. This is going to be an adventure!
