how many kittens? with pictures

hi my pregnant kitty is 6 weeks gone she is due around 18th april and this is her first litter. she was quite small before she got pregnant but has grown very quickly.

i am wondering if anybody can tell me how i could roughly tell how many kittens she will have as i have 4 homes already(one of them being me) and dont really want to let any of them down.i will put up a few photos of her in past few days could i get your opinions on if you think she is big ?

only a vet would be able to tell you either by feeling himself, or by a scan

i know but i just wanted other peoples opinions from their past experiences, i feel the ultrasound/xray is a waste of money that could be better spent on the kittens or sasha. the vet said he would have to do a scan he couldnt tell just by feelin as there could be kittens hiding behind other kittens. he also thinks the scan is a waste of money. thanks tho x 

am going to say at least 5 when my cat pebbels had her kittens she was like this maybe even a little smaller

thanks lilkim im hoping there is at least 4 fingers crossed, just a waiting game of 3 weeks now 

at times i look at her and think she is big but then there is times like the pic of her sitting up that you cant even notice she is pregnant.

haha well mine dosnt even look pregnant unless she lies on her side

Even if you know how many she is carrying some might not make it, so personally I'd wait and see what happens both at birth and the following 3 months.

I'll guess 4...haha just a guess though.

I thought for sure it's was going to happen last night...she even slept on my pillow for a little while

my cats prregant to and around the same size!!!

i think you cat will have with the pictures around 5 kittens

Her cat ended up having 5 kittens.

normaly there you are probely going to have 6-10 because my cat gave birth last night to 7 kittens and your girl is the samme size as her
