Just minutes ago my 1 year old Ragdoll (Lita) just dropped a half alive mouse in front of me. I saw it run under my large screen TV about 2 hours ago with my 2 Ragdolls in >HOT< pursuit
I knew that it was only a matter of time. It was small gray and about 2" long not including it's tail. I told her "GOOD GIRL" and gave her alittle treat.
I put the half alive mouse in an old fish food container and screwed on the lid.....and threw it in the trash
I LOVE CATS!

She caught it for her "DADDY".....LOL.....but thats OK. I am very proud of her. At least I don't have to worry about the mouse crawling under the covers with me tonight.

what a good kitty!! Snowwhite used to bring me things outside. I would feed them out back and they would always leave me a squiral or something next to there food bowls. I guess they thought since i was feeding them they would feed me
I thanked them but told them they could keep it!

Good Kitty! I don't think Peaches could be bothered with such a task. But now Henrietta is a different story!

Poor little mousie!

The thought of it suffering in a jar. . . .
Maybe you should have let your cat finish him off instead.

I am quite sure that you would feel differently if the mouse was laying in front of you
I could not kill it. I felt slightly bad for it, but felt it was the best that I could do. It was barely moving and did not want the cats to torture it anymore.

Hey, better it's in the trash than in your bed! Good kitties!

I firmly believe that the only living things what should be in my apartment are me, Alex, and Luna, and any human guests we invite in. Anything else is UNWELCOME! LOL
