Hi Anne/mods,

While clicking to visit a thread today, I got a big red screen from Chrome and this message:

"www.thecatsite.com contains content from ad.looktraffic.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.

Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else."

It had an option to continue onto the page but I didn't click it.

Just wanted to give you a heads-up that something might be weird with your advert websites. :wavey:

I got this as well! But I know that they make mistakes all the time with this kinda stuff. I remember not too long ago microsoft accidentally put google on their list of malware sites. Don't believe everything your web browser tells you though.

Put Ghostery on your computer.  It shows what trackers are on any site.  I also use Malwarebytes to check for malware and Comodo Premium anti-virus and firewall.   All are free.

I notice that his thread was started in March of this year.  The only replies are two that have recently been made.  Is this a problem that is still happening.  I have not seen it pop up anytime I have signed into the site.  I have Malwarebytes, paid version, and Microsoft Security Essentials monitoring my computer.
