My cat gave birth to 3 kittens on the 11th.  They are almost 2 weeks old and she keeps moving them!  No place is good enough for her.  I keep my door shut so she won't put them in any other room in the house ... we have 2 small kids plus a dog so she is restricted to our room but she keeps moving them around .... under the couch, behind the bed, in a laundry basket and now, in the cat tree on the lowest level.  Is there anything I can do to make her feel more comfortable about this?

moving kittens not unusual, but it hints she is feeling unsecure, as you yourself think.  As she is doing it clearly more than average.

How is she normally reacting to this dog and kids, when she doenst have kittens? Is she afraid of them too? or are they friends?  Anyway, when they have kittens to protect, they get touchy and easy to stress.

I presume sounds are getting in through the door.  Can you isolate the door better? Perhaps set up something on that door, a blanket or so...

A Feliway diffuser is almost never wrong.  It doesnt always help, but often useful.

Soft, calming / relaxing music can work too.

Good luck!   *vibes*

Are you handling the kittens a lot?  She may not like them being touched.  I didnt want my mama cat to move the kittens, so I really didnt touch them until they opened their eyes (at that point I handled them a lot to socialize them).  I moved them a little to change the bedding, but other than that I left them alone.  I know people suggest weighing them, which is probably a good idea, but I didnt.  Because she was a stray when I found her, and was already very pregnant, I didnt think she would trust me enough to handle them.  She never moved them, but I felt like if I handled them, she might have.

I haven't touched them but my fiance does.  Whenever we go around that area, she meows really loudly (she is a very vocal cat) and watches every move we make.  Their eyes are open now and she moved them to an open covered area so maybe she knows they will wander around a little more now?  She doesn't seem to care that much now that their eyes are open when we hold/pet them.
