Nothing's really happened so far. Earlier today around 1.30pm She was laying down on the tile in our kitchen and I had a clear view of her behind/vulva, and the area around the slit kept contracting every 2 minutes or so. She wasn't reacting to it too much her legs trembled a little but that was about it. Since then she's been really vocal and anxious it seems, pacing around the house and calling for me everywhere. I gave her some canned food and she ate it all. For the past 3 hours or so she's just been sleeping in the window sill peacefully. So i'm a little perplexed as to what I saw and if it was contractions? Hopefully I was right though and we'll have kittens in less than 24 hours or so.

Well, had a very INTERRUPTED night of sleep. Haha. Was woken at 2, 2.45, 3.45, 4.30, and 7 to her VERY LOUD mews and cries. I'd go and sit with her for 30 minutes and then she'd be done crying and back to walking around. The past 12+ hours have consisted of her going back in forth between the bath tub, and laying on the tile right outside the bathroom door, so i'm sure she'll have them in there and laid out some towels, etc. Hopefully in the next 24 hours!

You are being a very attentive caregiver to your sweet mama kitty.

It is hard for me to judge how far along she is, well being in Canada and all lol, but it sounds like she may be in a bit of distress??

It seems you think that this last phase of pregnancy/ oncoming labour possibly started about 1+ week ago.

Do you have a vet that you could call and give the above info to and see if h/she thinks mama kitty should be brought in for a looksee?

.... Do you have the towels in a box in a quiet corner?  Nesting mamas looove boxes.

UGH. No kittens yet :( I'm assuming what I was seeing a couple days ago was a form of false labor? Or some weird vaginal twitch i'd never seen her do? Because for the past few days she's been very content, eating, drinking, rolling over on her back to let me pet her tummy. I believe her milk is starting to come in in the two teets closest to her rear end. And every single night she is in and out of her nesting area meowing and calling for me. She doesn't seemed distressed, most of the time when she wakes me up calling me she'll jump into the nesting area and make me scratch her belly for a good ten minutes before she'll let me go back to bed. She doesn't really seem in pain either, except sometimes i'll be scratching her belly and very randomly she'll act like it hurt and try to nip me. I believe this is just because the kittens are so jam packed in her belly. You can see them so distinctly now- sometimes you can literally see the whole freaking kitten roll over, and I can feel about 4 distinct long hard bumps in her belly- they're BIG. And hopefully will be coming ANY DAY NOW. Who knows, maybe we'll get some Easter kitties? :)

LOL, she certainly is making you wait, isn't she! As long as she's not distressed, I wouldn't worry about a thing. I've had mamas in the past who are as sweet as pie but get a little nippy when I try to touch/rub their belly. I'm sure it's very uncomfortable for them, poor things, being stretched like crazy.
Here's hoping for Easter kittens!

Well once again she's having those weird contraction looking twinges in her lady parts. Hmmmmmm. She also had a little bit of clear discharge on her leg. Hopefully tonight!!!

Nothing yet. :( With me being the most impatient person in the world, the wait is KILLING ME. She had a tiny little bit of dried bloody discharge on her vulva, so hopefully this is a sign of things soon to come!

Oh, and also- the first time I felt the kittens was OVER three weeks ago [and that was just the first time I tried]. I've been able to SEE the kittens moving for about 2 1/2 weeks now.

Everything seems to be going fine! She's content and HUGE, has a massive appetite and a BIG OLE belly and the kittens are still moving around constantly. Her poor tummy is so jam packed it's stretched and deformed in odd angles, you can basically feel each kitten. I'm thinking she's gonna have 5 [I had a dream she had 5 last night and that one of the other cats ate one!! Oh wait, it was a NIGHTMARE!] I'm pretty sure she got preggers beginning/mid-february, So the due date here would be coming up ANY DAY now.

LOL, poor thing. I've been thinking about you and her as well and wondering how things are going. I've been through the waiting game so many times and have been fooled time and time again.
You would think I'd have it all figured out by now! Then there were times I'd swear they were going to have a huge litter just to have 3, lol.

Well, some interesting updates. Tiva is SUPER restless today, and I can also see some light whiteish/greenish discharge... or maybe the beginning of a sac? Coming out of her lady parts. We'll see!!!!!

It was definitely discharge and there's been more of it, she licks it away pretty frequently. She was restless for a bit but is now sleeping in a chair looking comfy as ever. Hmmmmmm

UGHHHHH. Nothing. I called the vet yesterday because when I was doing research online it said any shade of green discharge is bad and a sign of infection and I was freaking out. But the vet said sounds exactly like she just lost her mucous plug, and that she should deliver in the next 24-48 hours hopefully. I noticed the loss of the mucous plug around 3 pm yesterday. I saw it twice within about 30 minutes, the first time I wiped it away, the second time she licked it away and that's the last i've seen.
