I tried to do a count yesterday, last night and today... I think I counted at least 8?  Most are bi colored grey (or blue) and white I am pretty sure they are not the same one as they have different patterns and amounts of grey and white.  A couple of tabbies maybe (I don't know if it's the same one but I don't think so... One seems to be long haired and the other short haired?)  and a couple of tabby and whites... A calico and a couple tuxedos.  They are all just gorgeous.

I set out 4 humane traps.  I talked to the lot manager and told her about it and my plan.  She is OK and on board with it.  She said she'd make sure my mean, nutty, cat killing, redneck neighbor does not interfere.

Today, I checked all the traps and they'd all been set off... But only one had a cat in it.  A calico.  Very pretty.  She seemed so scared and hissed at me when I approached.  I talked calmly and sweetly to her.  She didn't hiss anymore but she cowared.  I didn't notice anything was wrong until I got her to the vet to be spayed and vaccinated... She has deformed back legs.  They seem short and like they don't flex out or extend very good?  She kind of does a bunny hop thing.  The vet says it is probably a birth defect.  But other than that, she seems very healthy.  She will be spayed at the end of the week.  He gave her vaccinations and a check up today.  She also had labs done and they will wait on the results and give her a chance to destress before going into surgery.  He suspects she is about 6 months old and she's probably very healthy, though so he doesn't see a problem going in for surgery and releasing her to one of his farmers.

Well, one down and about 7 or so to go!  I'll keep you posted.

Thank you!  UPDATE #2:  I got 2 more today... A bicolored grey (blue) and white DSH and a tabby DLH  both males.  The vet thinks they are each about 6 months to a year old.  They appear in good condition and healthy.  No battle scars as of yet so it's one of the reasons he thinks they are young still.  They even seem friendly after the initial shock.  So he is going to wait for labs to come back with them and then give them their neutering surgery.

Bunny hop girl, now named Bunny, is excellent.  They went ahead and scheduled her surgery for tomorrow.. Her labs came back clean so she is good and ready to go!!

Probably about 5 or 6 more to go now!!

Update #3:  I got another one this morning... A beautiful DMH tortie... I haven't seen her before?  She is a feisty one!!!  Slapping that cage and hissing and growling like she wants to kick my a**!!  LOL!!  I just dropped her off... "WHOA!"  is the reaction she got over and over from the techs and Doc A!! LOL!!!  All the traps were tripped but only one had a kitty in it.  These guys are smart!!  I have my work cut out for me!!

I don't know honestly?
I hadn't seen the tortie before... So I counted probably 8 or maybe more when I started but there may be others I haven't seen yet?  I asked around to see if the tortie was owned by anyone... But I know all my neighbors cats that they claim so if I trap them accidentally, I will give them back with a warning.  But, I can't trap this weekend because I am going out of town.  But, it's good to let the vet get caught up and have the ones I've trapped so far snipped and sent off to live on a farm before I trap anymore anyway.
