My rememberance table for my sweethearts that have gone on across the bridge
The baby on the left was CaseyCat. He came to me after his owners abandoned him during Katrina. He was my baby for three short years. He had a tendency to roam "even though he had been neutered" My neighbor from down the road brought him to me one afternoon and said he had run over him but he didnt mean to and I know it was an accident and sometimes they cant be helped. My heart was broken nontheless
This was Tessa, she was a persian and she was my heart! My mom gave her to me as a birthday present. She eventually went off to college with me and stayed for 4 years. She was a well educated kitty LOL After graduation, she and I made a new home together. She was 16 when she began having what sounded like a cold. Took her to the vet and he gave her some meds and I gave them all to her but in about another week she became much worse, high fever, labored breathing, coughing. She then was diagnosed with a respiratory infection and then pneumonia and after so many tries and fails I made the decision to let her go. Hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life but she had given me so much and I didnt want her to suffer for one minute longer. I held her as she slipped away and I told her she was the reason that I made it and that she made me so happy. So sorry, I'm crying as I type this. There is still a hole in my heart from when she left me and I guess there always will be.
