Here you go Nerdrock, your cat, as promised

First time using oil pastels, extremely happy. Think I found my new medium! Thank you for the practice

P.S. the colours are a bit brighter in person. The eyes especially are a lot more blue and stand out better. Technically not done yet (the body and whiskers need re-working) but I was too excited, so I had to post it!

Oh, wow!
You are talented! I think you are going to be getting a lot of request & making some money off this!  "Wonderful talent!!"  Yea, how much do you charge, so I can start saving?

Thank you all for the comments

And thanks for the picture to practice on, nerdrock! I must say, your cat is very beautiful, and it was a lot of fun drawing her!

I have no idea what I would charge for this work lol. I've looked around the internet, and lots of people are pricing their pastel drawings at $400! That's a wee bit expensive, I think

"If you lived here, I'd trade you massages & facials, waxing, whatever, for one!"

@ Angels mommy, i'm sorry i don't live near you
that sounds amazing! I'm thinking about offering these around....$130 perhaps, still not sure

@ catbehaviors, this was all done in oil pastels. I purchased them from Michaels, so it's their brand, I believe it's called "Artist Loft". It's awesome, they're not as expensive as say faber-castell, but they're still portfolio and artist grade pastels!

@ everyone else, thank you for all your generous comments. It truly makes me happy when you say things like this! I have always wanted to put my stuff up in a gallery, but have yet to do so because all my previous drawings were in black and white, and I felt that they weren't good enough.

You defiantly should gather enough of your work & have a show somewhere.( Even if it's at home, or a friends that has the space.  Invite everyone you know! Put out some finger food & drinks & there ya go!)   "Claim your talent my friend! You are blessed!"
