:eek:hno: So sorry that Fibie is still missing and I am glad that you are not giving up hope - because there is still that for sure :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes: In the meantime, congratulations on your new kitten, Prince and your new puppy, Duke. I happen to be fond of Dogo's and Pitbulls. I wish you much happiness with your new fur family and still send loads of vibes that Fibie will still be found. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Well its been almost 6 months since my Fibie has been missing. About a month ago a neighbor called  out of the blue and said he seen Fibie. He said that she looked healthy. This is the neighbor that lives on the next block over. We call him the cat man cause he has alot of cats around. God forgive me but I have always suspected that he has her. I feel that he collects the nice looking ones for himself. Im getting ready to pass out more flyers on the other side of my area just incase someone has seen her. In the mean time my kitten Prince keeps trying to get out. I already nuetered him a week ago and he still whinning and trying hard to get out.   feel sad because I know i could NEVER let him out because of the coyotes. I  hopeing that I find Fibie soon so he can have companionship while we are out during the day. My husband is totally against me getting another kitten so there goes that idea unless i only foster one for short term...hmmmmm. The new pic is Prince when I first rescued him from the pound.

Is there anyone you can contact, to go see if this guy has her w/out proof? With the word of someone that thinks he's seen her?

Is there a ASPCA in your area? Do you think they would help check it out??  Just trying to think of a way........

Good luck sweetie!  I hope you can get her back. I'd go over there when he wasn't home & see what I could see!

Keep us posted! :)

That would be so incredible if this "cat man" has seen your Fibie! I would go and hang out over by his house and see if you can find her :dk: I hope if this is your kitty that he will help to get her back to you. That would be so amazing if this is really true. I am happy for you and hopeful. :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes:

Yes...when i first lost Fibie I would drive by the Cat Man house almost every night for about a month or two. I felt like a stalker..lol. Once my suspicion grew more I called the dog shelter and asked for help and they said they would go out but, I honestly dont know if they really did. I will look into the ASPCA.

But this IS your cat - Fibie... :hugs: So you should not feel like a stalker :dk: I would be doing the same thing if it were a possibility that my lost cat was over there. This is such an emotional situation for you, hun. So sorry you are going through this. I hope you can get an answer as to IF this kitty is really Fibie or not. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

If the guy called you he's hardly trying to keep your cat. If he wanted to keep her he wouldn't call :dk:. Why don't you just go knock on his door and ask if you can look at all the cats that hang around his house and see if one is Fibie? I know I'd be thrilled if anyone came and claimed one of "my" ferals/strays.

See I was puzzled by his call so I called back several times to see if he has seen her again cause the plan was that when he sees her Im suppose go over there and

try to get her to come to me. Every btime I called he would say" no she has not came back". My husband thinks that maybe he feels bad about keeping her and just wanted to relieve my worries by telling me that she looked healthy. I started to drive by again and nothing. He has a lock on his front gate so I cant walk into his yard and knock on the door but, the last time I attempted to call him out I noticed his truck has a snug with a cage like window and also he has somthing tall and squarish looking covered with a blue tarp on the side of the house. That is actually why my suspicion grew. I went over another time and he was out there with a young couple and I asked if I can give them a flyer and the Girl came close and looked at the flyer and said " oh we would know if that cat was around here because of the pattern on her fur is different."

Your suspicion of him is odd to me. . .trust me, nobody in rescue is interested in keeping a cat just because she's pretty. He's probably up to his ears in cats, it's not like he really wants to keep yours. Just call him and ask if you can look around in his yard, call for her, etc. Cats tend to congregate, so if she's anywhere in the neighborhood she's probably there, even if he hasn't seen her.

Yes, do everything you can, & be persistent. It could be all the difference in finally getting her back, if it is her.
Lots of vibes that it will work out in your favor!!!

Is he straining to go?  Is there blood in the urine?  Crying in the litter box is not a good sign. As someone who's kitty is going through Cystitis for the 3rd time in 5 months, Please take him to the vet to be checked out. Is he peeing? Small amounts, normal amounts? The last thing you want is for him to be blocked. That is VERY serious for males!  Even if he's not, something is going on, & you don't want him to be in pain, or it get worse.

Good, I am so glad you are going to take him. My poor baby was either straining so hard, or in pain the last time this happened (Christmas Day!), That he threw up ALL of his breakfast while he was in the litter box. So, off to the E.R. we went!
He tried to go 4xs in less than a half hour, so I knew. (even though the first time was a good, norman amount).
