I'm the human of 7 kitties :)  I started a rescue mission 11 years ago and have adopted and placed many kitties since then.
Two are Bengal cats and five are rescue babies, four of them are special needs.
Elsa and Phoebe are the Bengals.
Phoebe is 8 years old and has Multigranulomatous Gastroenteritis "similar to Chron's disease in humans" for which she takes meds frequently and has a special diet.  She was diagnosed at 7 months old which is very rare.  She is healthy and doing well :)
Elsa is 9 years old and has an allergy to Immunizations so she can't receive vaccinations and lives inside where she can't come in contact with other animals.  Not really a special needs cat, she just need to be kept away from other animals.
Coco, Ward, Josie, Boots and Snuggles are my rescue babies.
Coco is an 11 yr old calico and she is a normal healthy kitty.  She is the hunter and protector cat of the rescue group.  Her size is enough to produce calm in a storm.  She is the mediator of squabbles and often the referee of fights.
Ward is a golden yellow tabby and his age is unknown although I have had him for 10 years.  He was rescued from an abusive owner who broke his hip with a baseball bat because he missed the litter box.  He takes anti-inflammatory meds and occasional pain meds "mostly when the weather is very cold which is when he seems to hurt the most".  He's a happy loving baby!
Josie is a solid black cat and her age is unknown, I've had her for 6 years.  She had most of her left hind foot amputated from a snake bite but after learning to get around again, has learned that she has few limitations.  She can even climb a tree :)
Boots is a 6 yr old gray tabby.  He was rescued after Hurricane Katrina.  He was found in a parking lot alone and only a few weeks old.  I syringe fed him day and night until he could eat on his own.  He is estimated to be about 70% blind, probably from the trama during the hurricane.  He is a very happy and loving baby.  He runs around and has adapted well to his vision limitations.
Snuggles is our newest addition.  He's an orange tabby and is at best guess about 7 months.  He was tested for disease and quarantined at our vets office.  He landed the position as new house cat to keep Elsa company.  Despite her extreme Alpha cat syndrome she took to him fairly quickly.

Well those are my babies and their stories.  I look forward to meeting everyone and am delighted to be a member here :)

Thank you
and yes, they do keep me busy but I wouldn't trade a minute of it for all the free time in the world.  They have been as much of a blessing to me as I have to them.

Oh and yes I would love to post some pics!  My babies are not camera shy )
