I'm almost embarrassed to admit this. I've been gone for about a month off the forums. Not by choice. i was reading one night and as I scrolled down the page got smaller and smaller, could not read it. Left the forum to do something else. I never could get the text to the size where I could read it, it was so frustrating...tried a restore point with no luck several times. Thought I would never be able to see TCS again. Well, earlier I was on FB and the same thing started again. OH NO! Turns out Thai had his big fanny on the ctrl button at the edge of the keyboard, so as I scrolled up or down with the mouse the page got larger or smaller. Mystery solved!!!! I'm so happy to get back here. I can't tell you how many bad words came out of my mouth while trying frantically to get the page readable.

Welcome back sweetie!!!! Wondered where you were. Don't feel bad, one of my kitties gave my computer a virus by walking across the keyboard one night. DH narrowed it down to a date and time (don't ask me how..he's the computer expert in the house) and apparently my computer accessed "something" at 3 something in the morning on a night when we were both fast asleep. Cat walking across the keyboard is the only thing we could think of.

Anyway, glad you're back now!

HAhahahah the same thing happened to me when Oliver walked across the keyboard one day, I called hubby at work, I thought I was going to nave a nervous breakdown.

Such a simple fix but it's frustrating when you dont know how to do it. That's like when I hit the wrong button and my keyboard is all of a sudden French, LOL

They make software to fix that problem.

Here is just one of many programs that determine when non-humans are at the keys.

Welcome back! I think we ALL know the frustration of kitties on the keyboard. I'll never forget when one of them turned the screen sideways. At least I could still see it, and I was able to post in the tech forum for help. :lol3: Using the touchpad, however, was extremely difficult as the directions were all off with the sideways screen.

Welcome back! I've lost count of the number of times Jamie has messed up my computer by walking across the keyboard. :lol3:

LOL!  I used to teach computer skills and I had some crazy things happen on student's computers from buttons being held!  I'm no IT person so I spent a lot of time searching for answers online!  hehe

:flail: well, I'm glad you made it back here!
Wiggies is bad for doing that to me. There's one page I have bookmarked that still comes up as super large text because of him sitting on my keyboard.
