Poor Jenny if she hasnt been through enough just lately, just to top it all off she fell over on friday night when she went to feed the goat and now has 7 stitches under her eye, smashed glasses and is black and blue all over, so please send her some hugs I think she could do with them.

Thanks - I have just found this thread, I didn't know Lynda had posted it. Today is the first time since it happened that I can wear glasses (my spares!) and so read or post.

What happened was that I got home around 7 pm from a meeting with the vet at which I complained about their misdiagnosis of Tasha, and didn't get very far, though he did promise to reduce the bill. So I was pretty upset. I took the car through the gate and got out with the lights pointing at the field, so I could go and feed Snowball. I did that and started to cry again as I turned back, I was blinded by the combination of tears and headlights, and got disorientated, falling into an old well/drain that is now filled and surrounded by rocks in the middle of the stable courtyard. I landed on my face, smashed my glasses and grazed and bruised all my right side. Fortunately my neighbour was in and she took me at once to the emergency room, where I had 7 stitches right across my cheek under my eye. I was actually very lucky not to have had my eye cut either by rocks or glass, or my teeth knocked in. But it is just another thing in my list of catastrophes.

Oh, poor you! I'm so very sorry about Tasha, and your accident. How terrible! I sure can understand about being so upset that this could happen.

Jenny, I hope you heal up quickly, and I'm glad you weren't injured even worse.

Thanks all. I can actually see out of both eyes now, which makes life a lot easier. I shall soon be back to normal.
