Deb and Fire, please accept my condolances for both of your losses. As for your husband Deb, I know the feeling. The only time he gets upset if it was one of his babies but he thinks I get carried away. I think he really feels it also but won't show it. I've seen him cry a few times and especially when he had to put his Joey (the English Bulldog) to sleep because of a brain tumor. The other time was when we lost Critter (my first female aby that I granded and bred). I need to go light a candle for an easy crossing to the Bridge.

I'm so sorry to read about your loss. I do know people out there hit and run, I lost a dog out for his nightly constitution and didn't know who did it until they knocked on my door a week later because they found it would cost a small fortune to repair the headlight and fender of their car!

I'm very sorry your dear Brutus passed away. He was too young to be taken from you, but such is the mystery of life. Please know he is at peace and is happily awaiting you at the Rainbow Bridge. It's so hard to deal with such a sudden loss: One moment your kitty is filled with the joy of life, then he is gone. Surely, you provided little Brutus many hours of love and fun! You'll both eternally retain a piece of each other's heart, along with memories which can never be erased.

Good-bye, little one! We love you.

Debby, I am sorry to hear of this. I just saw where Hissy lost Fern and now I see this about Peaches. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. It's so sad that she lost her life in such a way and I send my condolances. She had a good life with you and has now gone to a better place. I am so sorry!

Oh Debby and Fireshoes!

I am so so sorry to hear that! It really breaks my heart. Debby, I can't imagine what it feels like to find your baby like that on the road. And after all you've gone through together these past few months.

I will be praying for you and for the babies!

I almost wish I hadn't logged in tonight!

I just read Hissy's post about Fern...now I see this news from Debby and Fireshoes...too much tragedy here.

I can only echo what all else have said, and if it's any consolation, we are all here for you, feeling your loss, and praying for your Angels.

My thoughts and prayers,

Cleo

Thank you all for your kind words, it really helps...and Jeano...I hope you told that guy where he could shove his headlight and fender! The nerve!

I am SO sorry to hear about Fern!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just logged on, and this is the first thread I have been to, so this is the first I had heard of hissy losing Fern....when I talked to her last night she said Fern wasn't doing very well, but I didn't know till just now that she didn't make it.
I will have to go visit that thread.
I love you guys! Thanks for your support!

It is with great sadness that I read both of your posts.

Both Peaches and Brutus were lucky to have loving owners such as yourselves. Their loss is felt by everyone here.

My thoughts are with both of you, and candles have been lit in their honor.

Love and support in this rough time.
