Trying to get prepared..

Nope.. still waiting. She has been more vocal today, and wants to be near me, but other than that, nothing. No discharge, still eating. It been 5 weeks now since I took her in and I could tell then that she looked prego, so she cant go much longer, she had to be around 4 weeks then. So I'm keeping a close eye on her and making sure she or the kittens are not in distress. They are still moving around in her belly so I think they are good for now. I'm still just waiting. Im pretty sure its going to be in the next few days... but who knows, Ive been thinking that for over 2 weeks.

haha i know what you mean well if my vet was right its been 3 weeks since i saw her and she sd she was 6 weeks then so that mean she 9 weeks 2moz so anytime this week hopefully 

Ok, so we are in labor. Lots of discharge and she is having contractions, is purring non stop and is in her nesting box. I will keep you posted.

Well so far I can see some of the sac with fluid sticking out, but she is not progressing any further. Its been an hour... could the kitten be stuck/ in distress? Is that considered "in the canal"? She pushes really hard but nothing happens.

Still nothing, the fluid drained out of the bubble but nothing else. Contractions are around  a 1 and 1/2 min. She rests between them and looks very peaceful.

11:10 pm first kitten born... I think its a brown tabby or possibly a gray tabby. Has a beautiful face and beautiful markings.

First kitten was breech.

congratulations! that the rest of her birth continues to go smoothly. Cant wait to see pictures.

Congrats!  So the first kitten was OK, although it saw not good and you got afraid?

Dont forget to weigh them from now on, every day, if it is at all practically possible.

Yeah first kitten is okay, thank goodness. Really scared me, It took 4 hours from the time that we saw the sac. Gisele is doing really good, so far we are up to 3 and I can see the next one is breech and I can only see the tail so far. I will keep you posted, I have already weighed the 3 so far, I will post their weights when they are all born. And so far its two bob tails and one with a full tail. So exciting!

aww kittens keep us updated and dont forget to tell us how she was the night before

An interesting lesson for us all.  I suppose the key was the mom was calm and seemingly not troubled, just working as she should.

Thus we knew kitten was perhaps not safe, but mom was OK.

But yes, me too got anxious when I went up in the morning and saw your message written during my nightsleep.  Lucky I also saw the next message a moment later, and understood it was OK...

wow congratulations how many has she had now? cant wait to see pics. she looks like a beautiful queen so the kittens will be mega cute!!!!

the other pics of queens that are in this post are all stunnin bet u are all so proud of them. my queen "sasha" is 6 weeks and i think she looks quite big and this is her first litter do you think she will have quite a few kittens as got 4 homes lined up so far (including one for us) since she has gotten pregnant she is constanty scrounging and wanting treats (more than her food) but she is eating alot more food than she was before. did anybody else's queens have treat cravings? there is a pic i caught of her today stealing my daughters dunkers she will literally eat anything she can get her paws on! here is her photos from today.

lol hope so cause dont want to disapoint the new kitten owners. thank you i think she is to she my 3rd baby (i have 2 little girls) and im so excited bout her pregnancy, she is just such a wonderful loving kitty. we been sitting out the back enjoyin the sun today, sasha didnt last to long before she went back in to sleep lazy monkey lol

exciting news lilkim bout the few pushes it could just be the starts of a slow labour. so any time now n the kittens could be here.keep us updated! im hoping the next 3 weeks will fly for us. good luck  xx
