Yeah you've mentioned that before. I think you also mentioned that you've had her for less than 6 months. Maybe she'll get over her dislike of being picked up someday, especially since you treat her so well.

I'm hoping so At first I could barely even pet her without her trying to play bite with my hands. Now she head bonks instead of bites It's a great improvement. I can sneak some kisses in too without her whining

Zoey is really good looking. I love her coat!! So sleek and shiny. What do you feed her?

I feed her Nutro wet food and Chicken Soup for the cat lovers soul dry food.

AWWW !! She's sooo CUTE!!! She should become a cat model! Hey, how old is she now? How old was she when u adopted her?

I understand about cats disliking to be held! Zebra REFUSED to let me touch her when I first adopted her over 2 yrs ago. She was 9 months old and I just Love to cuddle with cats! Eventually she would let me pet her but refused to make the first move for affection so often I would make the first move then see if she'd accept it.

Now, she will come, sit, stare at me until I look at her then meow to let me know she wants some loving from me. She also insists on sleeping with me EVERY NIGHT and sometimes will try to push other cats off so she could sleep closer to me.. She recently started kneading on my chest! She NEVER did that before until about 2-3 months ago and let me tell u, I was ready to cry with joy when she kneaded my chest/neck! Isn't that silly of me!? I was just so thrilled because that shows she is finally trusting me and feels like I am her family now (FINALLY after 2 yrs!) :

Zoey is 16 months now. I got her when she was 11 months. She has improved so much though. Like I said before, all she wanted to do was bite me. Not in a malicious way, but still irritating none the less!

At first I could not pick her up at all, and she did not like it when I tried to cuddle her or kiss her. She would whine and meow and eventually leave She is still tempermental, but when she's sleeping I can sneak up on her and scratch her chin and kiss her and she purrs She used to sleep on my bed alot (not real near me though) but since I got that dang window perch she spends her nights there

When I come home she is the most loving. Following me in the kitchen and giving me headbonks and meows. She can be really sweet (when she wants to be )

You should be making money on those fab photos of her. I sure hope I can take as good pics as you do when I get my camera up and running. Although,its not going to "run" if I don't get off HERE and download it and plug it in!! My fav pic of Zoey is the upside down teeth one. Its like "See, I just got my teeth whitened!"

She does have some reallly white teeth! She's young. I want to try to brush them.. so far she actually rubs her mouth against the toothbrush so maybe there's hope that her teeth will always be white :
