The problem is, it is not easy even for experienced.  If you look at the treads, many does wait and arent sure.  If they know exactly when she got conceived, it helps much, but the exact delivery day is still not sure.

Ok, can you see / feel the kittens move?

shortly before delivery - a couple of days, they sink down into position, just like human babies. -> the big tummy drops a little.

Watch temperature, it drops a little shortly before the delivery - perhaps the safest sign.

some do get rare stools shortly before.

Nestling, slicking as you mentioned.

The problem is wiht these signs, many do it weeks before. Or not.  So it is rather a complex than the Sign.

Even contractions doesnt need be sure. Many does gets some contractions about one week before.

Like the body wanted to prepare itself.

Good luck!    *vibes!

  • Below are some indicators that labour is imminent:
1. The mammary glands increase in size during the last week of gestation.

2. Around two days before the queen gives birth she will start producing milk.

3. She may start nesting.

4. A day or two before birth, her temperature drops to 99F.

5. Change in behaviour. During the last week or so your queen may become either reclusive & seek out a secluded place or she may become more affectionate, especially if she is particularly bonded to one carer.

6. Restlessness & pacing.

7. Frequent trips to the nest.

8. Licking at the genitalia frequently.

also about 2 days ago me and my partner thought we saw one of the kittens poking out and sometimes when she gets up in a certain way you can sort of see them if that makes sense like they stick out if that helps with how far she might be

What do you mean by sticking out? Like a bubble coming from her behind, or like you can feel a kick?

i ment you can see them sticking out of her belly she is also been looking round the house alot in the past week guessing nesting and today i actually feel her nipples when i stroked her belly and i coudnt before because she is quite furry also she seems abit bigger today when she lies on her side than a few days ago but you cant tell she got bigger when she stands who so could the kittens of dropped, so any advice would be appreciated and do you think she further gone than what the vet said she said she was unsure and plus she is not eating loads like she has been since the past few weeks seems she has slowed down
