What a beautiful poem. Very fitting for such a lovely lady. I was so shocked to read this and send prayers to her and her family. Rest In Peace Fran xxx
Fran made a huge contribution to TCS and to our lives with her love of kitties, music and yes, chocolate, her insight, common sense, wry sense of humor and recipes. Who can forget the Chocolate Elf? Being able to work with her in the IMO forum for so many years was an experience that I'm really going to miss. My condolences to Rob and the rest of her family.
Rest in peace, Fran. I imagine that Cindy and probably Suzy were waiting to guide you to the other side and are so happy to be reunited with you forever. You'll certainly be missed tremendously here.
Fran was such a wonderful, kind, wise friend, and although she will be so terribly missed on this earth, I know she is celebrating in Heaven today. As Susan said on fb, Fran is singing with the angels now, and we all know she's so happy to be reunited with her kitties! Rob, you are in my prayers. We will miss you, Fran.
I have very cute book Fran sent me the first year she was my SS called "Cat Song" about how God came to create cats. So glad to this memory of a such a sweet, fun, kindhearted lady. RIP Fran.
Oh I am so sorry that this has happened, though I know it was expected. She was a friend to so many on htis site, one of the people that everyone felt they knew - her personality shone through her posts. My deepest sympathy to Rob and the family.
I am hearing many wonderful things about Fran. I did not get the chance to get to know her in my short time here but my heart goes out to those who did.
Condolences to her friends/family and anyone else affected by her passing.
I just can't believe it - words don't seem enough at a time like this. I feel so privileged to have known Fran, she was a wonderful, caring, wise person with such a huge capacity for love. My thoughts are with Rob and the rest of her family. Thinking of you always Fran
My heart is breaking for Fran's family, friends, and loved ones. I am so sorry to all for your devastating loss. Fran, I'm certain, will be missed by all who had the opportunity to meet her and have her in their lives.
I didn't know Fran very well, but I knew of her kindness and quiet wisdom. She was a member that I respected here on TCS and I am saddened that I will not have the opportunity to know Fran the way others do. She was obviously an important part of this member for many and I know she will be missed by all.
Rest in peace, Fran. I know you're not alone; for all of your kitties and ours are snuggling close with a new friend over at the Rainbow Bridge.
Fran, I am so saddened to hear about your passing.
You must have been lingering around in the last week. Out of nowhere I cooked one of your dishes you posted many years ago. I had never cooked it before and my husband loves it. It is one of your quick and simple pasta dishes. He asked me where i got the recipe from as I have no internet at the moment and I replied "its an old friend of mines recipe I should probably catch up with her".
Rest in Peace Fran, thank you for everything you have done and all the support you gave my beautiful chocolate elf.
I know that I haven't been on here long, and I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Fran - but I can see how important she was to all of you and to this site and, of course, to her family and loved ones. I'm terribly sorry for the loss and I hope that peace finds you all.
