Well Babykins also now know as Charlie is doing wonderfully!

He has been here just a little over 2 weeks now. He is over his cold, had his first set of shots and gained over a pound since he has been here.

We have graduated from the crate, don't even go in a night anymore. The older cats and the dog have accepted him. The biggest suprise was the Princess. I hand raised her from the minute she was born and she has always been my cat. She doesn't like anyone or anything else except me. Well ol babykins decided that he was going to pick Moe ( Aka The Princess) to be his buddy. She has shocked me and lets him sleep with her, he attacks her and beats the heck out of her and she just takes it. The only real problem we have is that Moe has now become extremely protective of the little guy and attacks the dog now if she even dares move off her bed or the kitten goes near the her. The dog is 65lbs and a big old baby. She loves the kitten but Moe wont let the dog within 10 feet of the kitten before she chases the dog down and smacks her. The poor dog is now living in fear. I have had to scold her and tell her no a number of times and the attacks are getting less frequent but my husband is getting frustrated with Moe.  I am hoping that soon things will settle down. She isn't hurting the dog, she just basically hisses and growls at her pushing the dog back into what I guess Moe considers the dogs exceptable space? Once in a great while she will pop the dog but is a nail less pop atleast.

Charlie seems to love his new home and people and boy his new people sure do love him. He is the sweetest little guy. He has figured out how to get on the furniture and now in our bed. He will curl up real close to you, purr and give you amazing kisses. He loves to kiss you. My husband gets the biggest kick out of the kisses it is so cute. Charlie has wormed his way into my husbands heart. (He is a dog person you know, hehe) I see them play and cuddle all the time.

I will have to get some pictures this week and post them up. I had knee surgery a week ago and I am just now getting back up and moving around.

:clap: Great news on Charlie!!!!!!!!!!! Oh how funny, Moe taking over mothering Charlie. Don't worry about that right now... Moe chasing off the dog. No big deal. I think it is great that Moe is taking on the mothering role. As Charlie gets older, Moe will relax a bit more about watching over him. Charlie picked a good mentor :lol3:..... :heart3: I am so glad that things have worked out as well as they have. More pictures YES :pix:
