What was your favourite childhood outdoor game? Skipping, hopscotch, hula hooping etc...

We usually played softball in the field next to our house. The whole neighborhood joined in and we had a blast.

While not a game, it was barrel racing my horse in our pasture with the other kids and their horses or ponies.

Two ballers!!
Hmmmm, just what kind of childhood did you have?! :lol3:

For me, it was this game we called "elastics". Basically you got a couple of pairs of your mum's old pantyhose and tied them together. Then two kids would stand with stretching them out using their legs. Then the next kid would do all kinds of complicted jumps through them for points. The one game I could actually win!

Oh I loved my Skipit too!!  I've never been much of a competitor.  But I liked jumping rope and things like cats cradle (I think that's what it was called.  I know there was another name for it!)  I was also a fan of the swings and swimming whenever possible.
