I cut my hair into a pixie back in November, and since then I've been searching for a good stylist to keep it maintained. (You have to cut pixies every 4 weeks or so because it's much more noticeable when they start to grow out!!)

I've been trying different stylists at my local Hair Cuttery, and I finally found one I really like. She does a great job, she's only about 3 years older than me (and I'm 19), she likes to talk to me while she's cutting my hair (I hate taciturn stylists!), she LOVES to cut short hair and isn't afraid of pixies, and best of all, she has 2 cats!!

So after we found out we both have cats, the rest of the appointment was naturally spent talking about them. :D

:D Heehee! That's great! I also have really short hair - very fine and it's "my style" - my hair these days would look horrible any longer.

The woman who cuts my hair actually is the person I got Larry from! She's a cat rescuer in Brooklyn, and I had asked her about fostering about 4 1/2 years ago, and ended up with Larry.

Since I took Larry, she now comes to my place to cut my hair and refuses to take any money. She says there's no way she's going to charge me, as long as I've given Larry such a good home. :D

Plus, she's an excellent hairstylist!

yay for hair people that are cat lovers.

My hair lady isn't a cat person but she puts up with my frantic last minute calls for haircuts (I have super short hair). I'm rather OCD about thickness and tolerable length and she never complains....at least to my face anyway
