Does anyone here feed Wysong food, specifically the Au Jus?
I recently started my two cats on Hill's z/d dry because my cat Taz has chronic rodent ulcer, and my vet thought it might help if it turns out she has a food allergy. He said she'd have to be on it a minimum of 12 weeks to see if it helps, so I decided to feed both my cats the Hill's to make it easier on me (it's really impossible to separate them at feeding time). Now, 3 weeks into the diet, my healthy cat Zazu is still experiencing the severe diarrhea that started for her about a week and a half after starting the food. It's explosive, very foul smelling, and the consistency of heavy cream. (hope you weren't planning on a creamy chocolate desert tonight! lol). This is a cat that's never been sick a day in her 9 year life. It could be coincidence, but I don't think so. Her appetite for it has diminished a great deal, another reason I think it's the food. Meanwhile Taz still loves it (as Zazu did in the beginning) & is having no problems with it so far.
I wanted to try the duck or rabbit Au Jus from the start, but my vet's have never heard of Wysong and preferred I try the Hill's - of course they sell it.
Anyhow, I was just wondering if there was any feedback on Wysong to be had here. The health food store I buy my bulk spices from sells a wet canned Wysong, but I don't know if it's Au Jus. If not I plan on ordering some online to try.
Thanks!
Cindy
