Wysong Au Jus? Or any canned Wysong food?

Does anyone here feed Wysong food, specifically the Au Jus?

I recently started my two cats on Hill's z/d dry because my cat Taz has chronic rodent ulcer, and my vet thought it might help if it turns out she has a food allergy. He said she'd have to be on it a minimum of 12 weeks to see if it helps, so I decided to feed both my cats the Hill's to make it easier on me (it's really impossible to separate them at feeding time). Now, 3 weeks into the diet, my healthy cat Zazu is still experiencing the severe diarrhea that started for her about a week and a half after starting the food. It's explosive, very foul smelling, and the consistency of heavy cream. (hope you weren't planning on a creamy chocolate desert tonight! lol). This is a cat that's never been sick a day in her 9 year life. It could be coincidence, but I don't think so. Her appetite for it has diminished a great deal, another reason I think it's the food. Meanwhile Taz still loves it (as Zazu did in the beginning) & is having no problems with it so far.

I wanted to try the duck or rabbit Au Jus from the start, but my vet's have never heard of Wysong and preferred I try the Hill's - of course they sell it.

Anyhow, I was just wondering if there was any feedback on Wysong to be had here. The health food store I buy my bulk spices from sells a wet canned Wysong, but I don't know if it's Au Jus. If not I plan on ordering some online to try.

 Thanks!

The Au Jus Wysong formulas aren't balanced for everyday feeding (they're mostly just meat and liver), so I wouldn't feed it more than the occasional meal or as a treat. There is a Call of the Wild supplement you can get to add to the Au Jus to balance it out, but to be honest I've never heard of a cat that actually liked it.

What about trying something like Innova Evo 95% venison or duck?

Yes, I knew I'd have to add the Call Of The Wild, and it does get expensive!  I was just reading a thread where someone asked what others are feeding as canned food and Evo 95% was mentioned in a positive light several times. I have a Petsmart in town, and I think they may sell it so I'll try it. It seems many cats won't eat Wysong, but I haven't read where they are turning their noses up on the Evo. I sure hope I can get it at Petsmart! If not, and Petco carries it, there is one about an hour away...

Thanks, sugarcatmom!

Well, here's an edit to say I stand corrected - my other cat just used the litter box for a bowel movement, and the 1ts half was normal but the 2nd half was liquid pudding. So I guess they are both having issues with the Hill's. Perhaps 3 weeks isn't enough time for them to have adjusted to it, but I would like to get them off kibble anyhow (neither will eat the Hill's canned - they hate pate style texture). I am seriously considering mixing my own raw food, there is a lady that raises meat rabbits for sale nearby, and I know plenty of deer hunters! I just watched a good youtube vid clearly explaining the additives needed, from EFAs to taurine & everything in between...
