Am I crazy?

Bandit was running wild today, and I found myself singing

"Run run run as fast as you can, I can't catch you, you're the Bandit man"

Does anyone have a special song or somiething you do for your cats. I can see kids, but cats??

I have little made-up songs for all of my babies...furless and furry.  Hehe  I think I get it from my Grandma.  She was forever adding her own spin on songs.  Mostly old Children's songs.  Like Old MacDonald became Old MacDougal (she is a first generation American born to very Italian parents...I do not know where this came from!) and Humpty Dumpty became Humpity Stumpity.    I should also mention that she CAN NOT sing!  She does anyway; in her scratchy voice.  It's one of the things I love about her. 

O, yeah - I do it mostly when I'm getting out of the shower and I see Oliver in the bathroom.

I sing "Soft Kitty" from the Big Bang Theory when Cassie's dozing on my lap, lol

we dont for the cats that much but we do for the dog. We joke that she is like the ghost in Mario because she follows people when they walk away but stops or runs when they turn around and face her. So we sing (to the Mario Castle song) Doggin doggin dogging. Doggin doggin dogging. Dogdogdogdogdogdog dog dog dog 

Love it! That's so funny!    Yes, I am ALWAYS singing to Angel.  I'm always changing the words to a song that's been in my head.
I'm sure he's like, "mom, stooooop!"   I also have one I made up while singing to him & it just stuck, so I call it "Our song."   It starts, "Your my little punkin pie, Your the apple of my eye, Your so sweet & cuddly too, that's why your my BoBo....." There's more, But I've embarrassed myself enough. LOL!"

We sing "Angel of Music" to our Angel.  It's from my all time favorite show --- Phantom of the Opera!

I've made up little songs for my cats. Singing helped calm Midnight down at the vet's once. Stopped him from growling. Didn't work at the last vet visit

I sing silly songs to all my animals.  The one that cracks my boyfriend up is when I give my dogs a bath I sing the song from Charlottes Web, "Chin Up" -Chin up Chin up everybody loves a happy face.  It started with one dog that always put her nose down during  the bath, and would get water in her nose.  Now I sing it every time I give any of my dogs a bath.  I know, embarassing!

"I said the same thing." But, nah, not embarassing, we're just all meowmys that looove our babies!

Lol no your not crazy I do silly things like that all the time. Of course it could be we are both crazy but hey who cares

Since I can't sing, my two don't get sung to, but my sister sings a song for Matilda called "Matilda" sung to the tune "marie" from WESTSIDE STORY, and Charlie's song is "MY CHARLIE LIES OVER THE OCEAN."
