Oh , no voucher still but I have just been sitting next to angel, she was on her back and I was rubbing her tummy, there is definitely something there, seems my concerns may be right. I can feel like forms in her tummy, little shapes if you know what I mean. I have felt this before once with the cat that I adopted who was already pregnant. My vet will not do a pregnancy check as they deal with illness only it being a free service. After sitting next to her tonight and having a good feel I am 80% certain. I estimate from when she got out she is about 4 weeks or so. I have been ticking away in my mind and I don't know what do do. I think I will wait for the voucher to come, take her to the vets and have them confirm it before I make any decisions.x

My mum has been up tonight and I got her to have  a look at Angel and feel her tummy, she said she is definetely 100% not pregnant Ruth, she is just eating well and grown well, she said her nipples look as normal and her belly just feels like a fatty tummy from food. I am now a little more reassured, my mum is quite experienced with pregnant cats as she has taken a lot of strays in in the past who have been pregnant. She told me to stop worrying and that I really am worrying for nothing
If the voucher hasn't come by midweek though I will phone Janice and ask her why it hasn't come still. I just want to now get her spayed asap.x

I can't believe it is still not gotten to you yet. I do hope she is only filling out and not with kittens. Sending mojo that you get her spayed within the next week or two. Moms are great LOL

I really am annoyed, I was promised that when I adopted her it would be here for when she is 6 months as this is when most vets around here will spay females. I will be ringing her if its not here by wednesday.x

So mad, still not here, phoned and just told its on its way, there isn't anything that I can do but wait. I am now even more worried, I was stroking Angels belly and there is like a lump on one side, like a long lump?? It doesn't feel right but then again I don't know what it would feel like if she was pregnant. Her nipples don't look any different but her nipples are quite pink anyway. I think by the time the voucher gets here if she is it will be too late and I couldn't abort the kittens very late on when I know that they would survive. I am just very confused, I have looked on websites and at ictures, would it help if I took a pic of her tummy if I stand her up?maybe someone would know? I am going out of my mind with wondering here. Thank you.x

I have no experience with pregnant cats, but she doesn't look pregnant - I don't see any belly bulge. Maybe you're feeling something in her small intestine? :dk:

Yep, I think I'm being paranoid again, she did just use the tray, thats what dh said, he told me to chill out and stop worrying, easier said than done
I am gong to ring the cats protection tomorrow where the voucher is coming from and see if they can speed it up, surely it doesn't take this long to post something out, its ridiculous. I have never worried so much over a cat before, well that was because I have all of them done as soon as when we didn't have money issues.x

I have 4 cats i found where i live and i now have a Mommy kitty that picked me to have her kittens on April 12th, i kept the litter 9 weeks and almost killed me to give them to Humane Society but i had to, now she was in heat in June and her meowing drove me nuts so i let her out, i caught her having sex twice in June and now she is not in heat and i think pregnant again. I personally would NEVER abort her kittens, that is just plain wrong and i will have to take kittens back to humane society, they do not kill animals and have $5 fridays where you can buy kitten and they sell almost all the kittens! Thats what i would do and am doing and noone can be mad at you, you didnt make her get pregnant its nature so tell them off if their rude!

I'm sorry, but not having this cat spayed after she already gave birth is just irresponsible. The woman who started this thread had a kitty that was too young to be spayed, and was simply waiting for her spay certificate to get it done. During that wait, the kitty escaped her enclosed back yard. COMPLETELY different situation.

And those of us who rescue cats do not subject feral or stray females to endless rounds of pregnancies. If they are too far along to be spayed, we find the kittens homes and then have mom spayed before she is released (if feral) or relocated to a new home (if a stray).

But you will find no support on this site for your position that "its nature." This is a site dedicated to cat welfare, and that means not contributing to more homeless cats and kittens. In the forum rules, under the section "Cat Care Policies, Guidelines and Stances," which you agreed you read to join the site, the third position is:

3. This is a pro-spay-and-neuter website. Please make sure to spay and neuter your cats. Unless you are a professional breeder and your cat is part of a professional breeding program, please educate yourself to the importance of spaying and neutering by the time your cat is 4-6 months old. If you take care of a feral colony, please make sure to do so responsibly by practicing TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) protocols within the colony.
