Pumpkin, I just realized, is very high in Vitamin A. Cats are susceptible to vitamin A toxicity, but I don't know how much is too much. Jennie is taking 1 tablespoon of pumpkin daily for constipation and I have recently started Mazy on the same regimen, but now I am concerned about Vitamin A overdose.

Can anyone give me any information on this?

The vitamin A in pumpkin is from beta carotene, same as carrots. Cats do not possess the digestive enzymes necessary to convert beta carotene into vitamin A. So nope, no worries on vitamin A toxicity from pumpkin (in cats). :)
