Under the cats, mostly.
LEGO!
they've got the stuff suited to ALL ages (my boys play on the floor with it - Ben with the MEGALEGO and Alex with the normal stuff). They have MegaLego, Duplo, Lego, Lego Technic, Mindstorms, computer games and videos... you name it. The kids use their imaginations AND I get some peace and quiet
 'tis all good!

I didn't have Legos, I had Brix Blox which were the generic version. I think they can out in 1976 because they were all red white and blue. Mom always said it was the best investment they ever made. I played with them for hours!!

The best invention? The wheel.

Electricity or indoor pluming.  Or earplugs.  I can't choose just one!

We got DD a set of the Duplos for Christmas and she loves them!  So does DH.
The other day he insisted we had to buy another set because she didn't have enough to build a house.  I think they are super cute!  Someday when she is bigger I will pass on my old ones that are still in the attic at my Moms.

OMGoodness, DS was (and, at 40 years old, still is!) a huge Lego fan! And he shares his Lego love with our grandson now, too. We're constantly giving them both Lego sets!

Me, I love a good book and can't live without my daily newspaper, so I'd have to say the printing press.

Lego rocks!
I don't have kids, but I still spend a fortune on Lego 'cos that's what my nephews love. Must be a great invention as every new generation loves it too. I deeply suspect that my sister plays with it as much as her kids...
