Cat peeing on everthing.

I have two cats ones a male and he's fixed and he does not and never has peed on anything.  The female cat on the other hand was peeing on the carpet then she started peeing on our bedding, now she is peeing on every single item we leave on the bathroom floor.

here today she deliberately walked across me while I was sitting in my chair and she peed on me, then while I was working on my homework again at my computer she jumped up and peed on me again.  I'm at my wits end with this cat and I have no idea what to do with her I need some advice.

Hi! Welcome to TCS wavey.gif

Has she been to the vet? If not, she needs to go ASAP. The number one reason cats pee outside the litter box is because they have a urinary tract infection, which makes it extremely painful for them to pee, so they associate peeing, and the box, with pain and instead pee all over the place.

If it goes untreated, she could develop a urinary blockage, and if THAT goes untreated it will kill her. Not trying to scare you, just want you to know how much you need to take her to the vet ASAP. smile.gif

Anyway, please get her to the vet as soon as you can, and I hope all goes well. vibes.gif

Thank you for the suggestion I had her there about a month ago and everything checked out then.  she has been doing this for over a year now and nothing seems to help her stop doing it.  I don't understand what it could mean for her to pee on me though.

Is she spayed? Is she squatting on you or peeing while standing up? How many litterboxes do you have in the house? How clean are they?

She may very well have a UTI. She may be in pain. She should be taken to the vet tomorrow.

If that turns out not to be the problem, them there are a whole lot of other things to look at, such as: number of litter boxes, where they are, type of litter, relationship with other cat, cleanliness of litter pan, type of soap used to clean pans, type of litter pan, stress of household, recent changes, etc.

But most often a UTI is the cause, so start there.

Edit: You replied while I was writing. I would go back to the vet, or to another if you have doubts about the first one. This behavior is for a reason. Something is very wrong.

On the short term, I'd confine her to a small room where she can't damage anything. Provide a low sided large litter pan - 2 if possible - with non clumping clay litter (no scent). Scoop very often, and wash pans and change litter every couple of days. Give her a comfy bed, like an old towel, and spend time with her there. She needs retraining, as well as medical care. The vet may need to do more extensive tests.

No she has not been fixed yet it was on my to do list. I have one litter box, and live in a small house so to fit two would be very difficult to have room for.The litter box is pretty clean haven't washed it out to thoroughly for a little bit.

Putting her in a room by herself sounds like an idea but since our house is kinda small we only have two rooms really so it would be hard to separate her.  also I can see where we might need to spend more time with her but it's kind of hard because she is center of attention to being with we spend more time with her than we do our male cat because she is so needy for attention.

The bathroom may be the best place to keep her, for now.

This would be temporary, until you can get her spayed (that she is not could be a major reason for the problem), and look into possible health problems.
